How information is used when you browse, personalize a piece or contact CustomLove.
Information you provide.
When you order or contact us, you may provide your name, email, delivery address, order details and messages. For a personalized piece, you may also provide names, initials, dates or photos.
Why we use it.
We use this information to prepare and manage your order, provide the personalization you request, arrange delivery, respond to questions, prevent fraud and meet record-keeping obligations.
Your personalization photos.
Upload a photo you have permission to use. The photo and personalization details are used for the piece you request and may be shared with the providers who prepare it. Avoid uploading information that is not needed for your design.
Payments and service providers.
Our storefront is hosted by Shopify. Payment providers process payment details. We also use providers for order preparation, delivery and customer support where needed to provide these services. Providers may process information in countries other than your own.
Email updates.
If you subscribe to marketing emails, you can unsubscribe using the link in an email. Order and customer-service messages may still be needed to manage an order or respond to your request.
Cookies and measurement.
Cookies and similar technologies can support the shopping bag, preferences, security and, where enabled with the required consent, analytics and advertising measurement. You can manage cookies using the available privacy controls and your browser settings.
Retention and your requests.
Information is kept for the purposes described here and where records must be retained. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion, or to ask about a photo you uploaded. Some information may need to be retained to manage an order, resolve a dispute or meet a legal obligation. Your rights depend on applicable law.
